本研究團(tuán)隊(duì)先后承擔(dān)了國(guó)家863、973、重大專項(xiàng)、自然科學(xué)基金等40多個(gè)項(xiàng)目，在團(tuán)隊(duì)成員努力下以及廣大工廠企業(yè)橫向課題支持下，在發(fā)酵工程研究過(guò)程中先后四次獲國(guó)家科技進(jìn)步二等獎(jiǎng)，10次省部級(jí)科技進(jìn)步獎(jiǎng)。形成的理論、方法與技術(shù)廣泛應(yīng)用于生物產(chǎn)品的工藝優(yōu)化、工程設(shè)計(jì)和新產(chǎn)品開發(fā)，推進(jìn)了我國(guó)生物醫(yī)藥產(chǎn)業(yè)化發(fā)展。

細(xì)胞培養(yǎng)與代謝工程研究中心（莊英萍教授團(tuán)隊(duì)）是隸屬于生物反應(yīng)器工程國(guó)家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室研究團(tuán)隊(duì)。該研究團(tuán)隊(duì)長(zhǎng)期致力于生物技術(shù)產(chǎn)業(yè)化的共性和關(guān)鍵技術(shù)研究，為推進(jìn)我國(guó)生物技術(shù)的產(chǎn)業(yè)化提供技術(shù)支撐。
研究團(tuán)隊(duì)自1997年成立后，發(fā)揮多學(xué)科交叉優(yōu)勢(shì)，針對(duì)生物技術(shù)產(chǎn)業(yè)化中的科學(xué)問(wèn)題開展基礎(chǔ)研究，著重解決共性和關(guān)鍵技術(shù)問(wèn)題，逐漸形成了“工藝、工程、裝備一體化”的生物產(chǎn)品開發(fā)技術(shù)路線。先后與幾十個(gè)企業(yè)或研究單位建立了合作關(guān)系，培養(yǎng)了大批急需技術(shù)人才。
研究團(tuán)隊(duì)在生物技術(shù)產(chǎn)業(yè)化的共性和關(guān)鍵技術(shù)，如發(fā)酵過(guò)程優(yōu)化與放大、生物過(guò)程在線傳感技術(shù)與計(jì)算機(jī)控制、生物反應(yīng)器裝備研制、動(dòng)物細(xì)胞培養(yǎng)、植物細(xì)胞培養(yǎng)、“三廢”處理技術(shù)等，取得了重大突破，并在生物領(lǐng)域廣泛應(yīng)用。
Our research team is subordinated to the State Key Laboratory of Bioreactor Engineering, National Engineering Research Center for Biotechnology (Shanghai) . We are devoted to the solution strategy of common and key problems encountered in the industrialization of biotechnology since 1997, hence, has been promoting to set up a technical supporting system for biotechnology industrialization, resulting in the sustainable progress of national biotechnology industry.
Based on the fundamental scientific research, Our research team has developed a mature technical solution for product improvement integrated with capability of technology, engineering and installation by taking advantage of multi-discipline technologies. Friendly cooperation has been built up between us and tens of enterprises and research institutes, which led to not only the significant elevation of their production levels, but also the successful training of a number of technicians for these enterprises.
Several breakthrough achievements have been gained on optimization and scale-up of bioprocess, on-line sensing, monitoring and data processing technologies, animal and plant cell cultivation，product purification and the treatment of waste gas, water and industrial residue. as well as the development and manufacturing of bio-equipments.

研究團(tuán)隊(duì)近10年來(lái)，先后與國(guó)際著名大公司（如DSM集團(tuán)、韓國(guó)CJ公司）、國(guó)外院校（如荷蘭Delft理工大學(xué)、英國(guó)Strathclyde大學(xué)、澳大利亞Adelaide大學(xué)等）進(jìn)行技術(shù)合作，形成了獨(dú)特的生物技術(shù)研發(fā)體系。
In past decade, technical cooperation were implemented with the international well-known large companies (DSM group company, CJ of south Korea) and universities (such as Delft university of technology, Strathclyde university, Adelaide university of Australia, etc.), Achieved the unique biological technology research and development system.
